Once the approvals are in place, we can commence excavating out for the pool and the plumbing.
The type of pool will dictate how much formwork is required. For example an in ground pool will have relatively little formwork however an out of ground pool will need all walls formed up on the outside using timber and ply. This is an important consideration for the cost conscious as out of ground pools will cost more to cover the additional formwork.
Once the pool is excavated and formwork is in place, steel reinforcing will be fixed into positon on the inside of the shutters. At this stage, pool plumbing including the skimmer box and in floor drain will be installed.
Once an inspection is complete, the pool is ready to be sprayed with concrete. This process only takes one day but the shell then needs to cure for 28 days.
During the curing period, the poolscaping works can be carried out including tiling, coping, water features, surrounding concrete slabs, connecting the filtration.
Pools fencing can now be installed and once completed, a private certifier must sign off and approve prior to carrying out the internal finishes.
pebblecrete or tiles can now be installed and once completed and washed, the pool is ready for filling.
We are finally complete and we will run you through the operation of your filtration equipment. Enjoy!
